Just wanted to add a little info on the Céline Dion being as I am a Quebecker like our lady. I am an anglophone here which means I live in the french part of Canada but my mother tongue is English. Culturally the Quebecoise and English Quebeckers are POLAR opposites. The Quebecoise pride themselves in straight talk. There is no filter from their brian to your ears. They don't give FUCK what you think, in fact, if they shock you...that's even better. They call anglos Tête Carrée which means Total square. We are too reserved about everything. We have skeletons in our closets , we don't brag about our sex lives, we wear clothes that are more....conservative. The Francophones let it all hang out, air out those closets, talk about their sexlives, where pants that are too tight and shirts that are too low cut, and that's grand ma-ma! Céline Dion is a very modest Quebecoise. She is a straight talker but , honestly, she's more of an anglos then a Francophone at this point.
I lurve her...not so much her style of sining but I can see that she's pure talent. BTW, Rene Angilil met Celine when she was 12 and he was 38. Their relationship began, it is said, before she was 18. Here, they consider their love story a true love fairytale, persoanlly I think it's a bit creepy but Whatev's, that's how the Quebecoise roll baby!
